Ahmet İçduygu
Ahmet İçduygu is Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Koç University, Istanbul, where he is a full professor in the departments of both international relations and sociology. He is also the Director of the Migration Research Center at Koç University (MiReKoc). He is an elected member of the Science Academy in Turkey, and has held fellowships at Stockholm University, the University of Warwick, the University of Manchester, and the European University Institute in Florence.
In addition to his own research, Dr. İçduygu has conducted various research projects for international organizations such as the International Organization for Migration, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the European Union, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the International Labor Organization. His areas of focus include migration studies, theories and practices of citizenship, the role of international organizations, civil society, and nationalism and ethnicity. He holds a PhD in demography from Australian National University.
