Isabelle Charo

Isabelle Charo was an intern with MPI, where she provided research support on projects relating to the intersection of migration policy and human services. Her research interests include the relationship between immigrant families and child welfare and juvenile justice systems, and antipoverty strategies for immigrants and refugees. She is a fourth-year student at the University of Chicago, where she participates in the Pozen Center for Human Rights internship program. She is pursuing majors in public policy and sociology, and a minor in French.
