Jaret Waters
Jaret Waters interned with MPI’s Latin America and Caribbean Initiative, where he supported research on Central America and Mexico as part of the Building a Regional Migration System Project. His research interests include border management, migration governance, and Indigenous migration throughout Latin America, with a specific focus on Brazil’s migration regime. Previously, he interned at the U.S. Embassy in Brazil, the Latin America Working Group, and the Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina in Brazil.
Mr. Waters holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and Spanish from The Ohio State University.
